Library Toolkit: Community

Services to different patron groups.

Resources for Community Members and Alumni/ae

  • Online Resources

Guests are welcome to use our subscription resources in the library, but off-campus access is limited, by our contracts, to current students, faculty, and staff.

  • Study Space

All three libraries have study areas with tables and chairs and comfortable seating. Rooms are available for group meetings or quiet study in Mays Landing and Cape May. All three libraries have computers, scanners, and printers. In times of heavy use, students have precedence over guests for study space and other resources.

  • Exam Proctoring

The library does not offer exam proctoring. Consult with the Testing Center about proctoring availability.

For un-proctored tests, visitors are welcome to use the library, but we do not have private study spaces with hard-wired computers. When taking online tests, it is best to use a hard-wired connection, because wireless connections can be unstable, and may cause the test taker to lose time, or submit a test prematurely.
